Technical Questions & Problem Fixes 1. I can't launch the courses. I hear a funny sound when I click on a course menu item. You will have to turn off your "Pop-up Blocker", exit the course and then launch the course again. In order to turn of the "Pop-Up Blocker", you will have to click the "Tools" menu item at the top of the page, move the cursor over the "Pop-Up Blocker" menu item, and then select the "Turn off Pop-up Blocker" item. This turns off the Pop-up Blocker. Next exit the course by clicking the "X" at the top right side of the course panel. Then re-launch the course. Everything should work properly. Good luck. 2. How does the Bookmark function work? The bookmark allows the student to stop at any point in the tutorial, exit the course, and then return to the point where he or she exited. The bookmark will not migrate from PC to PC. The software only tracks bookmarks on the machine that you are using at a given point in time. When you begin a tutorial, a cookie is placed on your PC. It keeps track of all course activity. If you, therefore, remove cookies, you will remove bookmarks, testing results, and any other monitoring areas used by the software; so, only remove cookies when you are finished with a tutorial.
